Hello
I'm Olivia Green, an illustrator and picture book artist, currently navigating the delightful chaos of life in Cornwall with my husband, our three young children, and our newest troublemaker, Rupert the kitten. Join me on this artistic adventure as I attempt to capture the magic of storytelling—while dodging crayons and cat hair! โโ
My Story

โI have an Illustration degree from Plymouth University, and now I’m currently sailing the high seas with the "Good Ship Illustration"crew. After working through their amazing Picture Book Course, I’m currently diving into their Business Course—who knew learning could be this fun?
โ
I previously worked at Portico Designs, in Bath, where I had the opportunity to design in-house for clients such as John Lewis, Oxfam, Paper Ninja, and Waterstones, among others. My experience there allowed me to develop my skills and work on diverse and exciting projects, whilst playing with a variety of different media- from acrylic, watercolour, collage, digital work and sometimes a mixture of them all.
โ
Being a mum to three children under seven has meant time away from my desk, but raising these little people has been the most rewarding (and challenging!) time of my life. I feel so lucky to have spent so much time with them in their early years. It has also given me a wealth of understanding and material for sketching, and character design.
I rediscovered my absolute love of picture books whilst watching their faces light up at the stories I grew up with, and the joy of discovering new stories and adventures together in more recent books.
I love both digital and traditional media, and I’m absolutely obsessed with colours and creating quirky characters. If you fancy a chat or want to team up on a creative adventure, just pop me an email below.
